Genesis and the First Sparkle

Published on June 3, 2026 at 3:39 PM

Today is Genesis' Sparkle Birthday — the magical day when a young unicorn's horn lights up for the very first time. But when Genesis's sparkle finally arrives, it doesn't come out in a neat, straight beam like everyone else's.

It comes out in spirals.

Wild, swooping, swirling spirals — all at once.

Embarrassed by her crooked horn and her very different magic, Genesis sets out to fix it. But with the help of her patient friends Moss and Fern, and the quiet wisdom of Elder Wren, she begins to wonder — what if her magic isn't broken at all?

This is book 1 in a series for ages 5-7. A great 'use your imagination" book that can encourage kids to see what's wonderful about them!
